Breckenridge has 146 trails that span through four interconnected mountains, making it Summit County's largest ski area. Each peak is fantastic in its own way that provides skiers and riders with a mass mixture of terrain. The all-blue Peak 7 features terrain for the intermediate-level skiers and riders who enjoy groomed runs and average-angled slopes. The Peak 7 bowl offers audacious chutes and vertical slopes that funnel down to the blues. Peak 8 is best known for its massive Freeway Superpark. Countless competitions are held every year at Freeway, and is said to be one of North America's most acclaimed terrain parks. Peak 9 caters to bother beginner and intermediate, supplying athletes with green and blue runs and terrain parks. Peak 10 is for the expert skier and snowboarder. Both sides of the mountain are for those who crave trees, steeps and bumps.
Breckenridge Ski Resort is the largest historic district in the state of Colorado. The 140 year old mining town will greet you with a display of Victorian architecture that gives new meaning to "local color".
