Breckenridge has 146 trails that span through four interconnected mountains,
making it Summit County's largest ski area. Each peak is fantastic in its own
way that provides skiers and riders with a mass mixture of terrain. The all-blue Peak 7 features terrain for the intermediate-level skiers and riders
who enjoy groomed runs and average-angled slopes. The Peak 7 bowl offers
audacious chutes and vertical slopes that funnel down to the blues. Peak 8 is
best known for its massive Freeway Superpark. Countless competitions are held
every year at Freeway, and is said to be one of North America's most acclaimed
terrain parks. Peak 9 caters to bother beginner and intermediate, supplying
athletes with green and blue runs and terrain parks. Peak 10 is for the expert
skier and snowboarder. Both sides of the mountain are for those who crave
trees, steeps and bumps.
Breckenridge Ski Resort is the largest historic district in the state of
Colorado. The 140 year old mining town will greet you with a display of
Victorian architecture that gives new meaning to "local color". With a number
of bars & restaurants, visitors can choose from cozy little bistros where they
can dine and sip to outrageous dance floors where they can dance the night
away. The town and its residents are eager to offer something new and hip to
visitors. The unprecedented variety and value, a real town and unreal skiing,
all combine to make Breckenridge a Colorado classic.
