It is a steep and technical river with sections appropriate for all ages. Clear Creek's proximity to Denver and Summit County make this thrilling section of whitewater easily accessible.
Beginner trips are a third of a day long and are a great introduction to whitewater. This section of Clear Creek packs in 11 class III rapids. A fun trip ideal for all ages.
Intermediate trips conquer some of the most intense whitewater on Clear Creek. Starting high in the canyon, there is just enough time to warm up before you drop into the first class IV rapid. Enjoy this steep and technical section that will keep your paddle moving. This is a physically demanding trip. Good physical condition is recommended and a minimum age of 13 is required. |
