| Bighorn Sheep Canyon, also known as "Parkdale," is a great family trip packed with fun whitewater and great rapids ranging from class III-IV. This trip combines beautiful scenery and spectacular rapids including Gosh Awful, Texas Creek, Maytag, Devil's Hole and Lose Your Lunch. Rapids are separated by stretches of quiet water, giving ample time to enjoy the beauty of the canyon. The biggest rapids are on the lower half of the Bighorn Sheep Canyon and include Three Rock Falls, Five Points, Spike Buck, Shark's Tooth, Double Dip and Puppy. This trip is suitable for first timers or experienced rafters. Bighorn Sheep Canyon trips run from early May through late August. On the 1.5 and 2 day trips you will camp on the river with your all your meals provided (lunch through lunch). Kayak trips are also available. |
