| On this stretch of the Roaring Fork River, you are guaranteed an experience few will share. Once only a meandering scenic rush of water with the towering Mt. Sopris as a constant backdrop, the "Middle Fork" has been transformed by the forces of humans and nature. Many rock ledges now abound throughout this section producing big powerful waves, holes and drops that are sure to surprise those thinking this is a mellow trip. Middle Fork trips run May through June and a minimum age of 12 is required. A riverside deli style lunch is included in the full day trip pricing. |
