| This trip combines the class IV rapids of the Slaughterhouse with the class III rapids of the Lower Roaring Fork in to one full day of exciting whitewater. Test yourself in "Entrance Exam", plunging over "Slaughterhouse Falls", maneuvering through the half mile long "Triple Drop", plus countless others. Continuing below "Slaughterhouse", the "Fork" keeps romping at a pace that never seems to slow. Without its upper brother's difficulty, there are still plenty of action packed rapids such as "Toothache" and "Toilet Bowl" to more than wet your appetite for whitewater. Trip pricing includes a delicious "build your own" deli style river side lunch. Not you're typical pre-fixed box lunch, the fresh sliced meats, cheeses, salads, fruits and homemade desserts will more than satisfy the heartiest of appetites. Slaughterhouse/ Upper Roaring Fork Combination raft trips run though May and June and a minimum age of 16 is required. |
