Nightlife

For immediate apres-ski, stop at “the Beach” at Gorrono Ranch, the mid-mountain spot for sun and microbrews. Or pop into West End Tavern near the Coonskin lift. For inspiring views of Wilson Peak at sunset, sink into an oversized couch or chair and sip an apres-ski drink in the The Great Room at Peaks Resort in the Mountain Village. A bar menu that includes spa cuisine is available. Eagle’s Bar and Grille on Colorado Avenue has a huge bar and great happy-hour prices.

For live music and dancing go to the Fly Me to the Moon Saloon with entertainment Thursday through Saturday. The Last Dollar Saloon (known to locals as The Buck”) has the best selection of imported beer in Telluride, plus pool tables and dart boards. It’s a bit of a manly-man beer bar—not many women hang out.

West End Tavern We are located at the corner of West Pacific Avenue & Davis Street in Telluride's historic west end. Whether apres-work or apres-ski, our daily Happy Hour is the place to be with great specials on food and bar items, there is something there for everyone. 970-728-1808
